Dubawi added a new Stakes winner on 25 March when his G1-placed son Jungle Edge led from pillar to post to take the G3 Star Kingdom Stakes at Rosehill Gardens.
Sent off as favourite, the Mick Bell-trained runner broke well and moved straight to the lead where he set a consistent pace. Maintaining his position throughout, Jungle Edge rallied in the straight to secure a two=length victory.
Bred by Mr C Strickland, Jungle Edge is out of winning mare Jungle Girl who has produced four winners from as many foals. Jungle Girl is a half-sister to Jewel Of Africa, herself a dam of Stakes winners Shamoline Warrior (Shamardal) and Cadillac Mountain (Reset).
Dubawi has sired no fewer than 27 G1 winners to date, including Postponed (who will aim for a second consecutive win in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan later today), New Bay and fellow Darley stallions Hunter's Light, Night Of Thunder and Poet's Voice.
Dubawi stands at Dalham Hall Stud a a fee of £250,000, October 1st SLF.
