Molatham, one of 10 Stakes winners from Night Of Thunder’s outstanding first crop, added a second Black Type win to his record on Thursday, 18 June when taking the G3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Roger Varian’s charge broke smartly from the stalls under the in-form Jim Crowley and was dropped back to settle in mid division. Racing down the middle of the course, Molatham was asked quicken once inside the final two furlongs and outbattled Monarch Of Egypt to win by half a length.

He rounded off his juvenile campaign with a fourth to Derby contender Military March (New Approach) in the G3 Autumn Stakes at Newmarket.
