The second and final session of the BBAG yearling sale in Germany saw top billing go to a regally-bred son of first-season sire Manduro. The colt out of Sacarina is a three-parts brother to the Group One-winning duo of Schiaparelli and Samum, and was sold for €150,000.
Consigned by Gestut Karlshof, the chestnut colt, who is already named Seven Summits, is now in Swedish ownership and will be trained in France by Alain de Royer-Dupré. Another of his siblings, Seventh Sky, by King's Best, won the Listed German Derby Trial in June.
