A gallant second in the G1 Prix de Diane on her last start, Left Hand went one place better on Saturday 30 July when taking the G3 Prix de Psyche at Deauville. The three-year-old daughter of Dubawi, who had also run with credit in the G1 Prix Saint-Alary and G1 Prix Marcel Boussac, holds lofty entries later this season including in the Prix de Arc de Triomphe, run this season at Chantilly.
A homebred runner for Wertheimer & Frere, Left Hand is a daughter of Singspiel’s G2-winning mare Balladeuse, who is herself a half-sister to G1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud heroine Plumania.
Dubawi is again enjoying a tremendous 2016 with Left Hand becoming his 17th individual Stakes winner. Amongst his nine Group winners are the Coronation Cup winner Postponed, G2 scorers Dartmouth, Time Test and Safety Check and G3-winning fillies So Mi Dar and Journey.
