Darley stallion Kheleyf took his tally to 22 individual winners on Tuesday when his filly, Al Sabaheya made a successful debut at Brighton.
Trained by Clive Brittain, she was always going comfortably under Liam Jones and once the gap appeared approaching the two-furlong marker she soon quickened clear to win easily by three-and-three-quarter lengths.
Bred by Genesis Green Stud Ltd, she is out of the Barathea mare, Baalbek, who has now produced four scorers including the multiple winner, Cross The Line (by Cape Cross).
Kheleyf now leads the first-season sires table in terms of individual winners (22), wins (30) and prize-money (£338,702), just ahead of fellow Darley stallion, Exceed And Excel.
