Manduro sired his eighth winner on Wednesday December 14, when his daughter Apothecary made a successful debut at Lingfield Park. Held up in rear early in the seven-furlong contest, she cut through the pack off the home turn to win by a head.
Bred by Cliveden Stud and sold as a yearling for 60,000Gns, she is the first foal of the winning Kingmambo mare Sister Maria, herself a daughter of the G1 E.P. Taylor Stakes heroine Fraulein.
Manduro, the scintillating Horse of the Year and world Champion racehorse of 2007, has sired a number of very promising winners.
