Donjah, a juvenile daughter of Teofilo, remained unbeaten when stepping up to Group company on Sunday, 4 November when landing the G3 Herzog von Ratibor-Rennen. Held up in the rear in the 1700m contest, she went to the front 400m from home and ran on really well to win by six gaping lengths. She has now won both her starts after impressing on debut last month at Cologne.
Bred by Gestut Karlshof, she is out of the Stakes-performer mare Dyanamore and from the extended family of German G1 winner Earl Of Tinsdal.
Now the sire of 31 Stakes performers this year, Donjah becomes the second Group-winning juvenile for Teofilo is the past two weeks after Guaranteed landed the G3 Eyrefield Stakes at Leopardstown late last month.
