Champion first-season sire elect Iffraaj became only the second stallion in history to sire 35 winners during his first season on 2 November, when his daughter Rosa Coletti ran out the two-and-a-half-length winner of the seven-and-a-half furlong maiden at Varese in Italy.
Bred by Cora SRL and Corrin Stud, she is out of the Stakes-winning Bering mare Oro Bering, who has now produced three winners from four foals to race.
Iffraaj has enjoyed a spectacular season with his first runners, headed up by unbeaten G1 winner Wootton Bassett, who has amassed almost £525,000 in prize money to date. He is also sire of a further six Black type performers, including recent G3 winner Espirita and Group-placed fillies Musharakaat and Stay Alive.
