Iffraaj recorded his second winner in two days and 22nd overall on 9 August, when Askaud broke her maiden in promising fashion over seven furlongs at Thirsk.
Settled just off the pace, the two-year-old filly was asked to quicken with a furlong and a half left to run and stayed on well close to home to win by a length and a half.
Askaud was bred by John P Jones and is the fourth winner out of the Warning mare Tarabaya. The dam is herself a half-sister to Black type winner and Group-placed filly Tarakala.
