A Shadwell homebred, he is out of the unraced Storm Cat mare Moon’s Whisper, herself a daughter of three-time G1 winner East Of The Moon, making her a granddaughter of the great Miesque.
Ibn Malik was one of 11 Black type performers for Raven’s Pass last year, headed by Group-winning duo Kataniya and Malabar.
