Halling sired his 24th Group winner on Sunday November 13, when his three-year-old son King’s Hall landed the G3 Hessen Pokal at Frankfurt in Germany. Trained by Andreas Wohler, he won by half-a-length to register his second career victory.
Bred by Gestut Elsetal, he is out of the winning Turfkonig mare Konigin Turf, a half-sister to three Stakes winners Konig Turf, Konig Concorde and Konig Shuffle.
Famed for siring tough and classy runners, Halling is responsible for 24 Group winners worldwide including a brace of French G1-winners, Cavalryman and Cutlass Bay. He has sired 13 G1-horses, with these select few averaging 30 starts apiece. He will stand this coming season for £10,000 Oct 1st, SLF.
