Owned and bred by Juddmonte Farms, Agave is a daughter of the G2-placed Contribution, a half-sister to the Champion Enable. Contribution also has a two-year-old filly by Golden Horn and has had a colt foal this season by Night Of Thunder.
Later in the card, Dubawi’s evergreen son The Revenant notched his seventh Stakes success when taking the G3 Prix Edmond Blanc. Held up near the rear in the one-mile contest, he wasn’t hard pressed to record a one-length triumph.
Dubawi has now sired 149 individual Group winners, fourth all-time and unmatched by any active stallion. Ten have now won in 2022 including G1 Dubai Turf hero Lord North, Lazuli, Naval Crown, Creative Flair and Royal Fleet.
