Godolphin’s Ghaiyyath made a perfect seasonal debut at Longchamp when impressing when winning the G3 Prix du Prince d'Orange. A G3 winner as a juvenile, he was returning to the track after injury and it could not have been more impressive, running out the easy three-length winner with two-and-a-half lengths back to the third.
Holding entries in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and Champion Stakes later in the year, he has now won three of his four career starts.
Bred by Springbank Way Stud and bought by Godolphin for €1,100,000 as a foal, he is a son of the Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Nightime and a half-brother to G1 Man O’War Stakes winner Zhukova. He is bred on the same Dubawi X Galileo-mare cross as stunning 2,000 Guineas winner Night Of Thunder.
Dubawi has been enjoying a magnificent season with Ghaiyyath becoming his world leading 33rd Stakes winner. Just this month he has sired the G1 Prix Vermeille winner Kitesurf and the unbeaten two-year-old pair Quorto (G1 National Stakes) and Too Darn Hot (G2 Champagne Stakes), rated the top two juveniles in Europe this season.
