First winner for Alexandros

Olija scores on her debut in France

Haras du Logis stallion Alexandros sired his first winner on Sunday June 8 when his daughter Olija scored on her debut at Angouleme in France. Trained by Thierry Lemer, she was victorious by three lengths.

Bred by F Bayrou, Olija is a daughter of three-time winner Pollys Dance (Kaldoun), herself a half-sister to Stakes winner Jump For You.

Alexandros is one of the most precocious sons of Kingmambo, winning the G3 Prix de Cabourg as a juvenile before running third in the G1 Prix Morny. From only a limited number of runners so far he has a number of promising performers including Nasuada and Acantos, both of whom have been placed at Paris tracks.

Alexandros stands this current season at a fee of €3,000, Oct 1st, SLF.
