Eternal Dance became Dubawi’s 40th individual Black Type winner of the year when she stepped up in class to win the Listed Prix Saraca over 1400m at Chantilly on Saturday, 8 October.
Trained by Francis-Henri Graffard, the two-year-old filly who won on her last start two weeks ago, sat at the rear of the field until into the home straight where she was switched out for a clear run, within the final furlong she hit the front to win by an easy two-and-a-half lengths.
Owned and bred by Merry Fox Stud Ltd, Eternal Dance is the second foal out of the unraced Dalakhani mare Yellow Band, herself an own-sister to G1 winner Second Step.
Dubawi, who is enjoying an exceptional season, has also sired seven winners at the highest level this year, including Coroebus who was successful in the G1 2,000 Guineas, St Leger hero Eldar Eldarov, dual G1 winner Modern Games who won the French 2,000 Guineas and Woodbine Mile and G1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes victor Naval Crown.
