Eleven winners for Raven’s Pass
Raven's Pass, who has made an extremely promising start to his stud career, recorded his eleventh individual winner on 15 October when his son Leitrim Pass justified odds-on favouritism to take the one-mile maiden at Musselburgh.
Settled just behind the early leader, the William Haggas-trained colt took up the running three furlongs from home and despite being challenged close to home, ran on well to win by a length and three quarters.
Bred in partnership by Indian Creek, Lofts Hall, Anthony Stroud and W B Isaacs, Raven’s Pass is out of the Stakes-winning mare Santolina, a half-sister to G3 winner Trafalgar plus G1 filly and Stakes producer Etizaaz.
Raven’s Pass is also sire of G2 Royal Lodge Stakes winner Steeler, who is due to line up in the G1 Racing Post Trophy later this month, plus a further three Black type performers in Interesting, Glean and Lovely Pass.
