First-season sire Brazen Beau took his tally of European winners to eight on Friday, 19 July when his son Treble Treble ran out the ready winner of the six-furlong novice at Haydock.
Kevin Ryan’s charge was settled in mid division during the early stages and once asked to quicken approaching the final furlong marker, demonstrated an impressive turn of foot to take up the running and eventually win by almost two lengths.
Treble Treble, who holds an entry in the Gimcrack, was bred by GHS Bloodstock and JC Bloodstock and is the fourth winner out of Sugar Blossom (Marju), herself a half-sister to three Black Type performers including Lowther Stakes winner Silk Blossom.
Brazen Beau is also sire of the impressive winner and G2 Norfolk Stakes third, Dubai Station, plus Stakes-winning filly Avengers Queen.
