Teofilo recorded a new Stakes winner in hugely impressive fashion on 17 December when his son Special Fighter swept to victory in the ten-furlong Entisar at Meydan.
Held up in the rear under jockey Fernando Jara, Special Fighter began to make headway at the top of the home straight and soon quickened clear, running on superbly to win by five and three-quarter lengths.
Special Fighter is one of four winners from four foals to race out of the G2-winning Machiavellian mare Susu.
He is one of 21 individual Black type winners this year for Teofilo, who is also sire of multiple G1 winners Pleascach and Kermadec.
Teofilo stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €50,000 October 1st SLF.
