Consistent Pitch becomes Manduro’s latest Stakes winner
Pitch, a three-year-old son of Manduro, has made excellent progress since his racecourse debut in April of this year and on 18 September, successfully stepped up in class when winning the Listed Coupe de Marseille in France.
Landing the ten-furlong contest by a length, he was recording his third career victory having won over the same course and distance in May, before following up with a victory in Lyon the following month.
Bred by S C E A Haras de Manneville, Pitch is one of two winners from two foals to race out of the winning Storm Cat mare Wedge, making him a half-brother to Group filly Wedge Trust.
Manduro is also sire this year of G1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Ribbons, plus unbeaten Group winner Meerjungfrau. He is also sire of two further G1 winners in Mandaean and Charity Line.
