Haras du Logis will be open as part of La Route de Etalons on Saturday and Sunday 11 and 12 January between 10.30 and 16.00.
Five stallions will be on show including World Champion Manduro, whose ratio of Group winners to runners is only beaten in France by Siyouni. One of his stars of 2019 was the Scandinavian Champion Square de Luynes, who won three International Group contests by an aggregate of over twenty lengths.
He will be joined by his G1-winning son Ultra, who was Champion juvenile in France when breaking the track record in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp. His oldest crop are now yearlings, with his first foals at the sales in 2019 making up to four times their conception fee.
Cloth Of Stars is just about to embark on his second covering season following on from a quality book of 120 mares in 2019. His 132 Timeform rating he achieved in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe remains one of the best around. It has only been beaten by four colts in the previous 20 renewals and is the equal of the winning performances of Golden Horn, Waldgeist and Workforce.
Hunter’s Light’s oldest crop have just turned three and his seven juvenile winners last season is higher than any other French first-season sire last season. They are headed by the very promising Trimlight, who broke his maiden by seven lengths last November.
Completing the roster is Bow Creek, the high-class son of Shamardal who won three G2s in three different countries. He will be having his first runners in 2020 with their trainers including his own handler Mark Johnston.
