Two winners in two days for Vale Of York

Ruby Rose the latest successful juvenile for her sire

Just a day after Escrick’s convincing victory at Lingfield took her first-season sire’s winners’ tally into double figures, another of Vale Of York’s daughters further boosted his record when victorious over five furlongs at Wolverhampton.

Always close to the pace under Franny Norton, Ruby Rose was pushed along from the halfway stage and taking the lead a furlong from home, kept on well to win by a length and a half.

Bred by Equine Associates Fr, Ruby Rose is out of High Society Girl (Key Of Luck) who is herself a half-sister to Stakes-winning juvenile Bashful.

Vale Of York is also sire of unbeaten multiple Black type winner Fontanelice, who landed the G3 Premio Passi on her most recent start. He has five yearling catalogued in the Goffs Sportsman Sale this autumn, plus a further seven in the Tattersalls October Sale.
