Trigo glory for Answered

Son of Authorized takes Leopardstown Listed race

Authorized's lightly-raced three-year-old son Answered landed the Listed Trigo Stakes at Leopardstown on his first start since May, his second victory in a four race career. Midfield early on the outside, he made his ground just before the home turn and after a prolonged duel with market favourite Vote Often, he asserted close home for a neck victory, with Manduro's son Ebasani back in third.

Bred by Cheveley Park Stud and a 50,000Gns foal purchase, Answered is a daughter of the US G1-winner Dublino.

Authorized has sired 21 Stakes horses in 2014 including Group fillies Ambivalent, Daksha, Seal Of Approval, We'll Go Walking and Lacy. His colts are headed by Hartnell, Bande and Signoff, as well as Wednesday's impressive French Stakes winner A Soldier's Life.
