New winner for Alexandros

Alasdair becomes the latest successful runner for his first-season sire

First-season sire Alexandros recorded a new winner on 25 September when his son Alasdair ran out the three-quarter length winner of the one-mile two-year-old race at Maisons-Laffitte.

Bred by Haras du Logis and Julian Ince, he is out of the Zieten mare Zarazienne, also dam of Slickly’s multiple winner Karqana. Her second dam is G1 performer and G3 winner Repercutionist.

Alexandros is also sire of the impressive winner and subsequent Stakes performer La Khaleesi, plus Olija – who has won on no fewer than three occasions this year.
