Dubawi’s Dancing Sands adds her first Stakes win

Three-year-old Godolphin filly cruises to victory in Cologne

Dubawi’s stellar season continues to go from strength to strength, and on 28 September he added a 27th 2014 Black type winner when Godolphin’s Dancing Sands ran out the convincing winner of the Listed Stutenpreis des Gestuts Winterhauch at Cologne.

Settled off the early pace under Anthony Crastus, the three-year-old filly (who is trained by Henri-Alex Pantall) was always travelling well and once asked to quicken, soon responded and ran on superbly to win by a length and three quarters.

Bred by New England Stud, Myriad Communications and Mount Coote Stud, she is out of the winning Danzig mare Past The Post, a full sister to Lockinge Stakes winner Emperor Jones. She is also a half-sister to G1 winner Bakharoff.

Dubawi is also sire this year of no fewer than five G1 winners and a further five horses that have been placed at the highest level.
