Don’t let this opportunity Pass you by

With an exciting crop of two-year-olds now stabled with some of the biggest names in the game, Raven’s Pass has plenty to look forward to in 2014

Raven's Pass enjoyed a truly spectacular sales season last autumn, achieving €662,000 and €520,000 for his top-priced colt and filly respectively, with a depth in the trade in his yearlings resulting in a handsome average of €127,000 for 31 sold.

These youngsters are now preparing to take their first steps on the racecourse and with trainers such as Jim Bolger, John Gosden, Richard Hannon, Mark Johnston, Saeed bin Suroor and Charlie Appleby, they will no doubt be given the best opportunity possible to realise the potential that was obviously seen by the judges at the sales last year.

Raven’s Pass was not only successful at the sales in 2013. From his select crop of two-year-olds, he recorded 51.4% winners to runners – better than New Approach, Henrythenavigator, in fact better than any other third-season sire. Every one of his second-crop winning two-year-olds is rated over 80 and if they follow in their father’s footsteps, these ratings should only improve when they reappear at three.

There is also plenty to look forward to when examining the 2014 foal and yearling crops by Raven’s Pass as they include the offspring of outstanding racemares including Pride, Petrushka, Magical Romance, Nightime, Rajeem, Ebadiyla; plus the dams of Monterosso, Echo Of Light, Carry On Katie, Dan Excel, Duncan, Elusive Pimpernel, Glass Harmonium and Saint Baudolino.

There are a limited number of 2014 nominations to Raven’s Pass still available. If you would like to discuss sending your mare to this record-breaking racehorse who is now siring record breakers of his own, then please contact our nominations team.
